REMEMBERING CHRIS MACROW
Chris Macrow was one of the founding members of Solihull Theatre Company and remained a keystone of everything ‘STC’, whether as its Committee Chair, Principal Actor, Fundraiser or Social Eventer.Tragically, Chris died following a cycling accident in September 2014 at the age of only 54. He is so greatly missed by everyone that knew him, and we at STC remember fondly his immense passion for musical theatre, his friendliness and encouragement to all involved with STC in any way. We continue to follow his example.
Chris’ wife, Sarah, began fundraising in his name for the charity, St James Foundation, and has been overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone donating in memory of Chris.
Chris loved STC and everyone in STC loved him right back, and we continue on with Chris’ legacy of enjoyment professionalism, fun and friendliness in our rehearsals and performances. We miss you Chris.
