ANYTHING GOES - A HUGE THANK YOU
The S.S. American has docked for the very last time and what a glorious, tap‑dancing, heart‑thumping, laughter‑filled journey it was.
When that final curtain came down on Anything Goes, it wasn’t just the end of a show. It was the end of a ship full of memories: the sparkle of Reno’s final note, the chaos of Moonface’s schemes, the sailors’ swagger, the Angels’ glamour, and every perfectly‑timed tap that shook The Core Theatre in the best possible way.
The audience rose, the cast beamed, and for a moment the whole room felt like it was breathing the same breath — proud, emotional, and just a little reluctant to say goodbye.
To everyone who boarded our ship this week: thank you. You laughed with us, clapped with us, and sailed with us all the way to that final blackout. Here’s to the cast, the crew, the band, the backstage magicians, and every soul who made this production shine.
And here’s to the magic of theatre — where every ending is really just the start of the next adventure. Anything Goes — over and out.

Solihull Theatre Company is an amateur theatre society. We performed our first show back in 1993 - Sandy Wilson's The Boyfriend - and haven't looked back since. We perform at The Core Theatre and over the years have presented a string of exciting and memorable musicals and concerts. NODA AWARD FOR BEST MUSICAL

MEMBERSHIP
Solihull Theatre Company offers performing and non-performing membership. We're always keen to hear from people who want to help back stage in our productions with things like stage crew, make up and props. MUSICAL PERFORMANCES AND PRODUCTIONS
Since 1993 our productions have been staged at The Core Theatre. Each year we perform a major musical production in the spring. Shows such as the Rodgers & Hammerstein classics have been frequently supplemented by more challenging shows such as Sweeney Todd and Jekyll & Hyde. We've also staged smaller productions such as The Scratch Concert to celebrate our 20th Anniversary and Abigails Party. We're privileged to have worked with many talented people on and off stage over the years all of whom enjoy working with us and ensure we never stop evolving.
A FUN INCLUSIVE SOCIETY
We're a friendly group that year on year welcomes new members. Many of those who join us have never been on stage before. Rehearsals are hard work but fun. We hold social events such as quiz nights, trips to other shows and nights out!
